What is the MSOIC Programme?

The Modern Slavery and Organised Immigration Crime (MSOIC) programme is embedded within the National Police Chief's Council (NPCC) MS and OIC portfolio.

Our aim is to assist police forces to deliver a consistent response to tackling these crime types with a focus on identifying and protecting victims of exploitation, preventing further offending, disrupting criminal activity and breaking the criminal business models of Organised Crime Gangs (OCGs).

All elements of the MSOICU operate both behind the scenes and in parallel with live policing activity. They seek to identify and share best practice across policing, support the collecting, development and sharing of intelligence, the interoperability with multiple Law-Enforcement Agencies (LEA’s) and other partners. We also create and distribute guidance, provide immersive and bespoke training and host National conferences and workshops to bring together agencies involved in this sector.

Our Vision

To embed an improved policing and wider Law  Enforcement response to Modern Slavery and Organised Immigration Crime.
